Friday Freebies Internet Marketing ebooks

Free training ebooks are offered by many online marketing sites and they can be a valuable resource for you to learn tips and tricks of the business.  I have collected a lot over the years and starting today I am going to share the best of them with you by giving you free downloads.

There are a number of reasons that internet marketers give away ebooks and other resources such as free videos and free software:

Training and Support

The best reason as far as I am concerned is a genuine desire to help train others or offer resources that will help you succeed. This is why I am sharing my own resources with you and why I share my research with you via Twitter and Facebook. Helping you make money makes this business more worthwhile for me.

We are involved in an industry that is not always ethical, one that is full of scam and spam, false and over hyped claims. Some will do anything to lure the unsuspecting and inexperienced to become members or affiliates of schemes that are bound to fail for them. Helping others means that I can distance myself from this side of the business. Of course it is in my own interest to do this too. By helping you learn, if you do join me in my own business opportunities, you will be better trained and more likely to succeed. It is a win win situation.

Advertising

Some marketers give away books to lure you into joining them as affiliates by littering them with links and banners to programs they are promoting.  Some of these ebooks may contain useful information but many do not.

Newletter Sign Ups

Many offer free resources merely to make you sign up to receive their newsletters. These newsletters are filled with advertising material and are aimed purely at luring you to buy something or join the program under them. They are little more than safelist type emails. My inboxes were becoming so choked up with these that I now have a seperate gmail address for these sign ups. The few I do find useful I filter to forward to another email account.

I am not saying that advertising and newsletter signups should not be one of the reasons for giving away free resources but that I feel that anything that I do give away or send out should be useful and add value.

Free eBooks to sell eBooks

Dedicated ebook sites often offer freebies to give you an example of else they are selling and to persuade you to pay to subscribe or to buy ebooks.
